Wikipedia's Unusual Articles

On a website known for its stringent editing procedure, humor is a hard thing to find. The only real places to find them are the rare conversations on the site's talk pages and the current subject: the unusual articles page. This is a list of all the articles deemed "unusual" by Wikipedia editors, whether it be for humorous or genuinely interesting reasons.

The page is split up into several different topics, each with their own subsections (for example, places and infrastructure has different sections for each continent). Each article also has a short (and frequently jokey) description tied to it. There are also several images with joke captions that lead to the article the image is from. As previously discussed, I absolutely adore going down rabbit holes in my spare time, and this page is probably the easiest (and safest) way to get started on one. If I were to list all of my favorite articles or images from this page, we would be here all day, so I am going to give a small handful from the places and infrastructure section.
